NY – Fashion Stylist Needs Two Interns

Internship position for fashion stylist, Liz McClean. This internship is located in Brooklyn, off the L train from Manhattan.
Well known fashion stylist looking for two new interns to come on board. Qualified candidate must have sincere desire to learn the ropes of assisting a stylist. They need to be in school or recently graduated with a degree in familiar field.

The ideal candidate should have an interest in high-end fashion and public relations, be detail oriented- organized, and positive. The environment is fast-paced and position is very hands on, for the right person this will be a great learning experience.

Writing skills and computer literacy are imperative- mac users a plus!!! Looking for interns who can begin working asap and carry on through Fall.

Knowledge of city and fashion industry is a must. Your major does not have to be Fashion, but should be relevant to the aforementioned duties. (i.e. Integrative Arts, Marketing/PR, Communications, General Business, Graphic Design) This is an unpaid internship that can be used for experience or school credit.

Responsibilities

Assist with press outreach

Research PR contacts

Assist the organization of photo shoots.

Sample trafficking Pick up and drop off of samples
Running errands (it’s part of being an intern)

*Update and maintain media databases
*Assist with clothing pulls for fashion shoots
*Help with production of fashion shows and art related events
*General office administrative tasks

Graphic Design skills a plus

You would need to be available at least
2-3 days a week, but full time would be greatly appreciated. If you are
dedicated, hardworking, and enthusiastic, we want you.
