Fashion Sales Intern
Details of Internship:
The intern should have a general interest in the sales aspect of fashion. The intern should be willing to assist owner and sales managers with outlining sales and promotional strategies and assistance with sales account maintenance. Intern should be extremely professional and comfortable in account meeting setting. Intern must be detail oriented, organized, and hard working. Intern must understand the meaning of follow-through and know the importance of finishing a task in a timely manner. Intern must meet deadlines and be on time always. Intern must also be willing to run general errands and assist with product collection and social events.

Qualifications in a candidate:
Intern should have a strong interest in fashion (accessory design preferred) and willingness to assist on all levels! Candidate should be able to commit to a minimum of 7 hrs per week.

Salary: Unpaid.

Archetype Showroom Needs Sales & PR Interns for Fall!

Archetype Showroom is looking for highly motivated, responsible, creative, detail oriented interns for our Public Relations and Sales departments. Our multi-line showroom handles sales and press for clients such as Surface to Air, LnA, Won Hundred, YMC, Kai-Aakmann, IRO and more.

Do you find yourself flipping through the pages of your favorite fashion magazines and looking at the credits? Can you identify top editors and stylists in the blink of an eye? Are you familiar with the coolest boutiques and retailers in NYC and beyond? If so, then you might be exactly what we’re looking for!

Intern responsibilities include sample trafficking, merchandising the showroom, communicating with stylists and editors, contacting buyers, updating contact lists, archiving press materials, and providing support for fashion week/market week events. We’re also looking for someone who is social media savvy and has a proficiency in Photoshop and Microsoft Office.

The ideal candidate is available at least 3 days a week and can start ASAP (.with Fashion Week around the corner, the sooner the better). Although the internship is unpaid college credit can be given and the experience will be invaluable.
