We are looking for freelance sales representatives to assist me. We only represent contemporary womens wear so an in-depth knowledge of the trends and garments is necessary. We are looking for placement at trendy stores that receive a lot of foot traffic. This is an amazing opportunity for people with experience seeking a part time – full time position to fill their gap. Based on experience and preference you may be assigned to up to 3 brands at a time. This is a job that is managed in an invisible hand manner; for the most part you will be managing yourself. JAYE is a monthly fashion magazine that focuses on college women across the country and the issues they encounter outside of the academic environment.
The fashion department is currently looking for
Market–Market editors define the trends of the season and scour the Internet finding on-trend brands, stores and designers that align with the JAYE aesthetic. This isn’t a writing position, but an understanding of what’s going on in fashion and a team attitude is essential.
Style–The style editor works with the fashion department to assist in the development and production of JAYE’s shopping section. Strong writing skills, the ability to research and meet deadlines are vital to this position.
Accessories–The accessories editor stays on top of all accessories trends for the fashion editors to use in their stories
