Fashion designer is looking for an intern to work 2-4 days per week. Intern will assist the designer directly.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Assist directly with meetings
-Make phone calls/emails and meet with vendors, factories etc…
-Assist with fittings
-Conduct model go-see’s
-Conduct interviews
-Attend events
-Run errands (IE; pick up fabric, drop off samples etc…)
Candidate must have the following qualities:
-Hard working
-Dedicated
-Responsible
-Enthusiastic
-Eager to learn
-Eager to grow with the company
-Self-motivated
This is a non-paid position. Internship may have potential to grow into paid position.
Hi,
having seen your post for the internship vacancy I thought it was worth contacting you for advice. I am 23 and currently living in London doing costume design and styling for films, commercials etc. Your internship sounds like a dream job to me and as I am currently thinking of moving to New York I wondered whether you thought you may have any other similar vacancies open at a slightly later date (maybe as soon as next month though) or could you possibly point me in the direction of something similar.
Any advice or help would be hugely appreciated as I am so eager for a job like this.

Hi, I was just wondering if the internship was 18+. I am 17 years of age and wil be a fashion design major next year but would love to have a fashion internship now. What do you think? Should I go to the open call-interview?
