The Fashion Department at W Magazine seeks highly motivated, responsible,
detail-oriented interns for the FALL 2009 semester. This is an unpaid
position in which you must receive college credit. A minimum of a 2
full-day per week commitment is required for this internship.
Interns will be based in the fashion closet assisting the fashion
assistant and participate in a variety of projects, which may include:
-Managing clothing samples
-Liaising with a variety of PR firms and designer showrooms
-Preparing for photo shoots
-Assisting the fashion editors with various tasks
This internship requires long hours in a fast-paced environment so
previous fashion experience is essential. Excellent computer skills are a
plus.
