About the Position:
This position provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop PR and social media skills that will be assets for a future career in e-commerce and/or digital marketing. The intern will work with a whole team, allowing the individual to handle tasks independently as well as collaboratively to perform the PR function. Primary responsibilities include:
Social media marketing on facebook, twitter and other social media (blogging, celebrity writing, social media updates, etc.) using keyword-optimizing news content, where possible
Event design and reporting
Email marketing
Cooperating with our outside PR agency
Other PR-related activities

We are looking for a creative individual who meets the following qualifications:
Strong writing skills, native speaker of English, blogging experience a plus
Strong editing skills, excel at Word and PowerPoint
Multi-tasking abilities and good time management skills
Experienced with social media, such as facebook, twitter, flickr, social bookmarking sites, etc.
A passion for fashion and women’s apparel, familiar with fashion media (such as People, InStyle, Seventeen, etc.)
Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
Preferably a junior or senior in college or a graduate student with a major in Communications or Public Relations
