New York, NY – Spring 2012 Internship

New York Fashion/Beauty/Lifestyle PR and Marketing agency is seeking interns for their Spring 2012 Internship Program for immediate hire.

Our bi-coastal agency represents an extensive list of high profile clients in the fashion/accessories, beauty, hospitality and lifestyle industries. We are looking for hardworking, passionate interns with a can-do attitude who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the Public Relations industry.

Intern responsibilities include:
-Regular office maintenance. ie: answering phones and taking messages in a clear and concise manner, greeting guests
-Organization of office, showroom, and designated intern desks
-Keeping inventory of all showroom samples
-Conducting research for clients
-Creating and updating media lists through Cision
-Supporting celebrity and editor driven events
-Editorial coverage: clipping and archiving press credits
-Drafting pitches, proposals, and media alerts
and more!

Requirements:
-Interested in Fashion/Beauty/Lifestyle industry is a must
-Excellent writing and communications skills
-Ability to multi-task
-Self-starter, can work independently
-Organized and a strong attention to detail

Interns will need to commit at least 3 days a week from 10 AM to 6:00 PM.

Internship is unpaid but college credit is available.
