Matteo is looking for a Designer who assists in development and sourcing of new products for our bedding, loungewear, table top, and spa collections, researches trends, techniques, and materials, produces and updates product specifications for collections and special projects, maintains fabric libraries and vendor files, requests and tracks lab dips and textile samples, requests and expedites in-house cut-and-sewn samples, maintains up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques

Requirements:

Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and Outlook

Strong knowledge of and appreciation for high-end cut & sew.

Experience with garment/apparel or soft goods specifications

Education and experience in textiles and fashion

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to problem solve, demonstrate initiative and work independently as well as part of a team

4-year college degree preferred
