We operate a full service Image Consulting agency  called Simone Vivian LLC. My company provides an array of services. We style, do closet edits, personal shopping, wardrobe building and create look books. This position is in Washington, DC

We are currently seeking students who are in need of a spring internship. An ideal candidate would be a junior or senior student who is interested in fashion, with a PR or advertising focus. This person needs to be computer and social media savvy. Lastly, someone who is punctual and can work independently.
Tasks Will Include:
-Support on managing appointments, press days and special events.
-Handle and maintain loaned product and the tracking of all inventory
-Organize and prepare press kits and other documents
-Track and clip of all press coverage (i.e. press clip books)
-Contacting Media Outlets
-Create PowerPoint presentations (if needed)
-Assist in basic administrative office tasks
-Research new business and strategic marketing assignments

Qualifications:
Interns must be fun spirited, dedicated, and organized with a ready-to-work mentality. Candidates should have excellent research, writing and analytical skills.
Must be a college student interested in FASHION public relations/communications, strategic or integrated marketing, or a recent college grad looking to gain
experience/exposure in the field. Seeking long-term, 6 month minium commitment.

Previous public relations internship experience a plus
MAC and PC skills
Excellent Excel skills a plus
Excellent Networking skills
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Interest in fashion is a MUST!!
Well versed in fashion magazines, blogs, websites, etc
Great research skills
Must be a self starter and highly motivated
Must be able to multi task
Must have knowledge of MAC/PC Word and Excel, social media outlets
Graphic Arts Proficiency is a plus but not required!
