PR INTERN

Melt Management, a sales showroom / PR agency, is opening an LA office.  We are currently looking for a hardworking and driven PR intern to support our PR team.  PLEASE ONLY CONTINUE READING / APPLY IF YOU HAVE RELEVANT FASHION PR INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE.

The right candidate will:

-          Be proficient  in Microsoft Office

-          Be detail-oriented and organized

-          Have strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills

-          Work well under pressure

-          Be able to multi-task and time manage

-          Have excellent phone etiquette

-          Be outgoing and personable

Duties include, but are not limited to:

-          Assisting the PR department of Melt Management / Studio M

-          Assisting in building relationships with regional editors, stylists and other media or press related individuals to promote our clients

-          Researching contact information for celebrity stylists, bloggers and regional publications

-          Assisting with events

-          Updating Twitter and Facebook when needed

-          Conducting media appointments when instructed

-          Helping other departments as needed

-          Overseeing sample trafficking at the LA office

-          Helping to maintain a tidy showroom appearance

-          Assuring that all samples are steamed, presentable and that each garment’s swing tag contains required information

-          Updating head of PR on a regular basis on projects, progress, etc.
