Established Brazilian Based Shoe Company is looking for motivated interns for their New York City office.
We are seeking to bring in an intern to assist with administrative office functions as well as share in the responsibility for our core activities. Candidates will collaborate with the Marketing team in carrying out research and development, and the execution of marketing plans.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Management in Developing Sales and Marketing events – all aspects from idea generation, planning and marketing
- Support Management during Sales and Marketing Events
- Assisting with preparation for Trade Shows as well as offering support during New York Trade Shows
- Review potential marketing opportunities and developing recommendations (publications/social media campaign’s etc.)
- ***Managing and creating email marketing***
- ***Assist in the development of e-commerce***
- Write effective copy, excelling in correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Edit and proof other team members work and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
- Possess skills at initiating innovative ideas, unifying team members, and judging correctly what will appeal to target audiences.
- Prefer challenges that involve communication, are people-oriented, promote networking and socializing, and include roles that call for imagination.
- Willingness to work hard and help out in all aspects of the business
- Have the knowledge and passion for the fashion industry

- Social Media and E-commerce knowledge
Required skills include:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003/2007 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Capable of strategic Internet research
- Must be currently enrolled in a 4 year college or university pursuing a degree in Fashion, Public Relations, Business Communications or Marketing
- Previous experience in the industry is a plus!
- Photoshop abilities a plus!
- SEO and e-marketing knowledge a plus!
