THE COMPANY:
Dana-Maxx, www.dana-maxx.com, is a contemporary women’s ready-to-wear clothing line based in New York City.

THE BASICS:
We are looking for a sales intern who is interested in an extensive hands-on internship with a growing fashion brand. Candidates should be able to begin as soon as possible and must be available 2 days per week (Tuesday through Thursday preferred). Wholesale sales experience a major plus. This is a non-paid internship, school credit is not mandatory.

THE INTERNSHIP:
Responsibilities include:
-Assist with maintaining and organizing account database
-Assist in making calls, sending emails etc
-Assist with merchandising and marketing of line
-Assist with sample trafficking to stores and private clients
-Assist with sales events, trade shows and/or trunk shows

THE INTERN:
Interns must have the following qualifications:
-Very strong communication skills
-Highly organized and detail oriented
-Positive and enthusiastic attitude
-Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
-Strong follow-through abilities
