Sales Internship

Botkier is looking for exceptional interns to join us for the Fall 2011 Internship Program starting immediately. The sales intern will support our wholesale team and help with wholesale related projects.

Responsibilities of the internship include the following:
-Maintaining organization of sample closet and showroom
-Coordinating sample movement to accounts and PR agency
-Assisting with preparations for tradeshows and other special events
-Creating swatch cards for samples
-Filing and general administrative duties
-Accompany the sales team on store visits
-Will also assist with marketing/social media related projects from time to time

The ideal candidate must be passionate and proactive, willing to take initiative and work independently at times. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly are musts.

Requirements:
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
-Knowledge of both Mac and PC systems
-Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
-Ability to work under time pressure
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing work demands
-InDesign and Photoshop knowledge a plus
-Prior fashion/corporate office experience is preferred

Interns should be able to commit at least 3 days/week (Monday through Friday), preferably Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
