JILL STUART is currently looking for a highly organized, self motivated Public Relations Assistant / Showroom Manager with 1+ years of experience working in a public relations capacity in the fashion and/or creative industries. This position supports the public relations needs of the JILL STUART brand by engaging in daily tasks across a variety of functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Working directly with the Director of Communications, the designer, and the CEO
- Assisting Director of Communications with all public relations and logistical tasks
- Communicating with editors and stylists to coordinate all sample trafficking; daily organization of ready-to-wear and accessories samples; maintaining trafficking calendar
- Maintaining editorial calendar
- Assist in weekly and seasonal press reports; weekly, monthly, and yearly press books / clipping; oversee the documentation and archival of all press materials
- Monitor and distribute key industry news; conduct industry and trend research
- Assist with special events/projects including: Fashion Week, seasonal press days, photo shoots etc.
- Manage scheduling; provide departmental support on additional projects as required; oversee interns
- Manage front desk and assume all office assistant duties

- Possess a sense of urgency with excellent follow through while meeting deadlines
