SNOBSWAP Marketing & Business Development Internships (Fall)

Description:

SNOBSWAP.com is seeking two highly motivated Marketing and Business Development interns interested in working with a luxury retail start-up.  SNOBSWAP is a new online self-consignment venue where fashionistas can swap, shop, and/or sell their designer clothes and accessories.

Responsibilities

§  Help build social media presence

§  Contribute to other marketing initiatives

§  Perform Market research

§  Work with partners on special business development initiatives

§ Work with PR on idea generation and press kit development

Location

New York and Washington, DC, (In-person weekly meetings, but mostly will be work from home)

Qualifications

You need to be:

• Detail oriented
• Hard working
• Quick learner
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude
• Internet savvy
• Preferred not required – eCommerce experience or exposure through school
• Preferred not required – merchandising experience
• Must have experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Photoshop / Illustrator skills are a plus.

Please note: This is an unpaid internship. We offer a small stipend/travel expenses and college credit only.
