Fashion Intern, Marketing and Events
We’re looking for highly motivated, forward thinking, entrepreneurial spirit to fill a position of Fashion Intern with focus in Marketing and Event Coordination. The ideal candidate has a burning desire to learn, serious ambition to be in the fashion industry; you’re in school for a degree in fashion or recently graduated.
- You’re looking for more then a line in the resume about the internship, you’re looking to make a difference, leave a mark.
- You can do more then get the coffee right. Your mission is to go where no one has gone before.
- Self-starter with sense of initiative, organized with immaculate attention to detail, willing to learn and can work with minimal direction, outgoing personality and positive attitude are only few things that describe you.
- You take deadlines seriously, able to set goals and follow them to completion. You know which rules are there to be broken and which must be followed.
- Previous photoshoot and fashion show experience is a plus
This is a role for the consummate juggler and your time will be spend:
- Assisting with events logistics (fashion shows, cocktail parties, networking events), scout venues, liaise with contractors
- Assist with casting calls and model selection
- You’ll be rocking the fashion show backstage, assisting with styling, directing models, keeping an eye on the schedule
- Attending industry events around Chicago, networking and raising awareness about CFC.
This is an unpaid internship with a potential to lead to a paid position. You will have flexible schedule, must be reachable on email, text or chat. CFC operates out of virtual office, you should be available for evening and weekend meetings in the Loop. You’re willing to commit to 4-6 hours/week.
