With more than 3 million subscriptions, DailyCandy shares the latest and greatest — from fashion and style to food, shopping, and travel.

DailyCandy is a subsidiary of Comcast Interactive Media.

Daily Candy is currently seeking a Photography intern who will work with and support the DailyCandy photo team. Preference will be given to interns who can work at least four full days per week (five is preferable).

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Photo Editor and photo team to meet daily publishing deadlines
• Assist with in-house and location shoots
• Perform photo research
• Edit and manipulate photos (color correcting, cropping, sizing)

Requirements:
• Diligent, able to follow direction well and work in a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of Photoshop CS4 and digital cameras
• Awareness of cultural trends
• Comfortable with voicing opinions and verbalizing aesthetic ideas
• Willingness and passion to learn

Pluses:
• Experience with studio lighting and/or prop styling
• Experience with HTML and/or publishing to the web

This is a paid internship at the rate of $7.25/per hour in accordance with NYS Minimum wage.
