NY – PR & Social Media Internship Position Available ASAP

We’re looking for a motivated & experienced social media / PR intern at Sienna Ray & Co., leather handbags & shoes brand.

The intern will work on the following projects:
• assist in strategy for launch of online shopping site
• execute Social Media Campaigns using Twitter & Facebook, increase traffic & interactions within all social mediums
• brainstorming and drafting articles for the e-newsletter & blog
• researching publicity opportunities and tracking the efforts of competitors
• coordinating with current PR agency on press releases, cross-promotions, sampling & more

In-depth skill & experience with social media and strong communication skills required. Proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop an asset.

This Internship Opportunity is a part-time position with flexible scheduling; must be committed to deadlines and able to work independently as well as run errands & attend meetings in manhattan. Position is available immediately, for 2-3 months duration. This is a portfolio building internship, and this internship is unpaid with merchandise allowance.
