Amika is a fast growing international luxury Hair/Beauty Company. The company has offices in New York City and London.

The headquarters is based in New York City, where departments such as Design, Product Development, Marketing, Logistics, and the supporting services are situated. Because of continuous development of the company, Amika seeks to recruit a Business Development/Account Manager.

For our rapidly expanding business in Europe and UK, we are seeking a Business Development/Account Manager to drive sales and grow the Amika and supporting brands through building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers in London, UK, and European countries.

You have well developed and effective communication and an elaborate knowledge of the professional hair and beauty market in the UK and throughout Europe. The account manager will be based in London and work directly with our New York City team.

Requirements and Qualifications

· Bachelor degree and/or relevant Sales-business development experience in branded consumer products, preferably in the beauty industry.

· An elaborate knowledge of the professional hair and beauty market in the UK and throughout Europe; including high end retailers, professional distributors, luxury boutiques, and salons.

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at hand and possess exceptional organization and follow-up skills

· Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills, including full competence with Microsoft Office

· Collaborative, cross-functional team skills, resourceful, and a hands-on approach to management and the ability to excel in an entrepreneurial environment

· Ability to roll-up their sleeves and hit the ground running with a dynamic, energetic, outgoing, & team oriented personality

· Flexible in working hours and prepared to travel (Travel World trade shows is required)

· Immediately following hire candidate will travel with team to Bologna, Italy for industry trade show March 17th-March 22nd

The package

· Full time permanent contract

· Salary base + commission OTE GBP 40,000 uncapped
