NYmag.com’s Fashion Department is seeking a part-time intern to contribute
to the model coverage for New York magazine’s website. Candidates must be
model obsessed. Know who the new girls are, the older girls, who is
breaking into which campaigns, etc. You must be comfortable researching
fashion and model history, making contacts, and digging up any information
necessary. A writing ability is a must, as are keen organizational skills.
HTML knowledge is a plus. In addition, you will assist the fashion
department with whatever they may need. The ideal candidate will have
previous fashion and magazine experience (either interning or otherwise),
be eager, meticulous, flexible, professional, and be able to work in a
fast-paced, extremely deadline-oriented environment. This is a paying
position.

Twist Summer 09 Interns
TWIST, a national monthly fashion and entertainment magazine for teen and
tween girls, is seeking editorial interns for the summer session. Tasks
will include: writing for the Web site and MySpace page, transcribing
interviews, assisting the fashion editor in calling in products, editorial
research, shadowing staff meetings and so much more. There are also very
real opportunities for celebrity interviews! Candidates must enjoy teen pop
culture (think Twilight, Jonas and Miley, oh my!). Ideally, candidates
will be available to intern two full days a week.

M Magazine, one of the top teen titles in the US, is looking for summer
editorial interns who have an interest in pop culture and teen celebrity
gossip. Duties will include: researching articles, conducting and
transcribing celebrity interviews, writing for our web and MySpace pages
and other various administrative tasks. Prior internships aren’t
necessary — just a working knowledge of the teen celebrity world and a
desire to take initiative learn about the industry! Interns should be
available a minimum of 2 to 3 days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The
internship is unpaid but can be used for college credit. We’re located in
