Fashion Wholesale / Production Internship

This is an unpaid internship. Period and timing is flexible, but we can take immediate placement. We much prefer students who can use the internship for academic credit, but other applications will be considered as long as sufficient references are forthcoming.

The job will be quite varied, as we are a small quickly growing company. There is a good bit of data entry, but we try to balance that other things & we do share our interns with other departments (design & production). Some duties will be out of the office, occasional trips to our NYC area retail partners (Barneys, Bergdorf, Jeffery) as well as possible trips to our production facility in Queens, and our shipping facility in New Jersey.

We need someone who is thorough and focused on finishing jobs correctly. We need someone who takes the initiative to learn by taking notes and exploring independently before asking questions, but then knowing when to ask for help. We are looking for a detail oriented person with a natural ability to understand systems and organization. We prefer someone with good MS excel skills.
