LeSportsac has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant in the NY corporate headquarters.

LeSportsac was founded in 1974 in New York City. Although the U.S. has always been known for quality workmanship, 1974 France was synonymous with style and fashion; hence, the French words for “the bag” were incorporated into the name and the LeSportsac brand was born. LeSportsac is part of The Accessory Network Group.

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaision with clients in all areas of sales
• Processing sales data, sales progress reports and other sales-related records and reports
• Data entry to track the delivery of sales literature, product samples and other necessary services to customers as needed
• Prepare literature aimed at securing new accounts
• Enter data related to sales and customers into computers
• Assist in making sales and handle bookkeeping associated with such
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services
• Assist with showroom appointments
• Prepare orders and paper work for online accounts such as Zappos, Ebags and Amazon
• Perform trade show follow up to assure timely delivery of literature and samples  


Job Requirements:

• Computer Skills: Word and Excel a must
• Proficient Communication Skills
• Candidate must be resourceful, creative and time sensitive when faced with multiple projects or challenging deadlines
• Able to manage working for multiple supervisors
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• BA degree preferred
