Twinkle By Wenlan is currently seeking Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Sales, and Production/Operation interns for Fall 2010.  Requirements are as follows:

Fashion Design Intern

  • Good sketching ability
  • Fundamental knowledge of garment construction
  • Basic sewing skills
  • Must be hard working and a team player
  • Creative, entrepreneurial, and detail-orientated
  • Ability to recognize and react to change if work demands
  • Will work in trimming, design, sketch, design board, inspiration, photo shoot, styling and fashion show

Graphic Design Intern

  • Strong communication skills
  • Creative and organized
  • Familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator and In design
  • Will work on sales marketing and public relations material such as: look books, line sheets, ads, event invitations, photo shoots, and fashion shows.

Public Relations & Marketing Intern

  • A good communicator and writer, excellent organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic and willing to work on copy of marketing, press kits and sales material
  • Strong planning skills with a sense of priority for deadlines, ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Articulate, organized, analytical and detail orientated
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be hard working and a team player
  • Will work in trade shows, showrooms, events, and website
  • Savvy in social networking programs and knowledge of fashion blogs, magazines, etc.
  • Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator competency a plus

Showroom & Sales Assistant Intern

  • Excellent communication as well as interpersonal skills
  • Assist in growing the label and the business
  • Will work directly with the sales team to organize and run sales events
  • Track showroom samples
  • Keep showroom neat and organized at all times
  • Sit in on buying meeting

General Showroom Intern

  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and willing to help in all areas including production, public relations, sales, etc.
  • Must be hard working and a team player
  • Knowledge of how to prioritize
  • Assist in keeping the showroom clean and organized
  • Excel skills a plus, but not required
