City Magazine is looking for motivated fashion interns to join our team 2 to 3 days a week. Footwear News is looking for Spring 2009 editorial interns. Our interns
conduct induct interviews, report news, write features, attend events,
trade shows, and market appointments, assist on photo shoots and
participate in editorial meetings. This is a great opportunity to build up
a portfolio of clips and get on-the-job journalism training.
Please have strong writing/reporting skills and an interest in the
business side of fashion. Interns must receive college credit and will also
receive a $12/day stipend for transportation and lunch.

NY – Cosmopolitain Internship

Cosmopolitan is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated intern to
report to the Associate Fashion Editor and Fashion Director.
Candidates must be very organized, eager, resourceful and able to
multi-task. A strong interest in fashion, entertainment and photography is
a must.
This internship will give an amazing introduction to photo shoots, fashion
market and the inner workings of a fashion department.
The internship will include assisting on photo shoots, sample returns,
creating cover and fashion story boards, and administrative work.
The internship is unpaid and the intern must receive college credit.

NY – amNew York Internship

amNewYork newspaper is looking for interns over winter break and during the
spring semester. Interns will help out with arts/entertainment/features
coverage, including celebrity news/features, fashion/beauty, nightlife, and
movies.
The internship is very hands-on, and there is definitely an opportunity to
pitch/write stories. Other duties including fact-checking, covering events,
requesting photos/samples, helping out on seasonal fashion shoots, and
compiling calendar listings.
Students must receive credit for the internship.
