    Seventeen magazine is looking for two amazing interns to join our FEATURES department for the spring semester (approx. January-May). Please note: This is an unpaid internship and you must receive college credit. Candidates should be strong researchers, detail-oriented, interested in learning about magazines, and OBSESSED with teen culture! As a features intern, you will transcribe interviews, research, pitch story ideas, write for seventeen.com, and more. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend brown bag lunches and brainstorming meetings with editors.     W Magazine Spring Fashion Features Interns

    W Magazine is looking for 3 spring interns to assist writers and editors in our Fashion Features department from January through May. We are looking for interns who are hard-working, highly organized, and extremely motivated. Duties include: transcribing tapes, researching, fact-checking, and providing general assistance to writers and editors. Interns must receive college credit and work between 10-15 hours a week.     CosmoGirl Online Intern

    CosmoGirl.com is seeking an intern to work with the magazine’s Senior Web Editor and Associate Editor to expand it’s online offerings. The ideal candidate must possess a strong interest in one or more of the following: music trends, celebrity gossip, a broad understanding of American Pop Culture, shopping and fashion trends, and relationships. You must be highly organized, efficient, detail oriented and have excellent follow-through. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to: write and produce daily stories, blogging, maintain contact database, assist research and fact-checking, investigate new bands/music artists, compile all credit and where to buy information on style items featured on the website, and contribute stories and feature ideas for the web on a weekly basis. Basic HTML and Photoshop knowledge is a plus. There will be some writing associated with this position. Candidate must be able to work a minimum of two full days a week.     J-14, a celebrity-based teen magazine, is on the hunt for bright,
    enthusiastic interns to help out in our friendly, close-knit editorial
    department as soon as possible. Closet Hannah Montana fans encouraged to
    apply! Responsibilities include transcribing celebrity interviews,
    organizing reader mail and prizes for giveaways, researching for stories,
    and updating fashion and beauty contact lists. Additional opportunities
    include conducting interviews, generating news items for J14.com, and
    updating J-14’s MySpace and Facebook pages. Hours are flexible — we will
    work with your schedule! Internships are unpaid but can be counted for
    college credit.
