No.6 Store looking for vintage clothing and archive intern for studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Great opportunity to work in a women’s contemporary clothing designer studio and the behind of the scenes of a retail environment, get hands-on experience in vintage clothing and archiving . Responsibilities will range from day to day studio operations and long-term projects.

No.6 vintage intern duties include:

- Work with No.6 in aiding them with daily tasks to help them organize and archive the vintage and get stock ready for the store.

- Inventory, tag and clean items for the store
- Archive vintage into computer system
- Photographing items for archive (should know your way around a camera)
- Be prepared and willing to take on a variety of different tasks daily
- Work with organizing vintage alterations
- Deliver or facilitate getting vintage to the store
- General office duties

You must currently be in fashion school or have attended fashion school. Have knowledge of designers that you would find in vintage. Worked or interned in the real world before.
You must have an eye for detail and great communication skills and have a strong interest in vintage clothing. You are able to follow instructions and have excellent organizational skills.
You should have proficient computer skills in Office and all Adobe products. Photo shop or illustrator is a plus.
You need to be a self-starter and have a positive attitude!

Our influences include : travel to foreign places, designers such as Martin margiela, vintage YSL , Dries Van Noten the color black, and vintage clothing of course.
