Haute Living is a luxury magazine that publishes three editions bi-monthly from our New York office. Our publication is for those who demand the most luxurious choices in life. With the oversized 10”x12” format and lavish full-page picture spreads, Haute Living has become a must-read for Miami, Los Angeles, and New York’s power players and elite members of society. The Editorial Assistant has a broad range of responsibilities. Haute Living publishes one magazine per month so we have a very fast-paced office, and are in need of assistance in keeping everything organized and on-track. The editorial assistant will be responsible for the following:

1) Proofreading, proofreading, proofreading
2) Transcribing interviews done by Editors
3) Writing some short pieces for the issues (in both our Haute Necessities and Haute News section), for which on-page credit will be given
4) Writing press releases about the goings-on in the Haute Living world
5) Updating Haute Blog about the world of luxury (you can see more on the blog at www.hauteliving.com
6) Assisting editor and publisher in their day-to-day routines, among other clerical responsibilities.

Haute Living provides an exciting and dynamic environment where the intern will have the opportunity to learn all about the magazine industry from the ground-up, so an internship at Haute Living gives students an inside look at the magazine business. This is an unpaid position, also available for school credit.

Kara Ross NY is looking for a Full Time or Part Time Fall Intern- Immediately!
Duties include: packing samples, calling messenger, sorting filing, arranging showroom for appointments with editors, unpacking and checking in samples as they arrive, calling in past due invoices, arranging sample requests, speaking with editors regarding credit requests and appointments, and updating our inventory system, as well as other day to day tasks.
Some computer work includes basic operations in QuickBooks, Photoshop and Fishbowl. It is not necessary to know these programs before applying, but it would be a plus.

Triple C Designs, a rapidly-growing fashion accessories design group, is seeking a dynamic, proactive and resourceful fashion student to join our already successful team as an intern.

This individual will join a group of savvy fashion design professionals and receive hands-on experience in an energetic and entrepreneurial environment. We have a very fun work environment and are located in a great trendy neighborhood.

The basic responsibilities would be to help multi-task day to day duties from several different departments.
