    Dolce Vita is looking for interns for our Clothing Division. Please reply with a resume if you fit all of the following requirements. If you do not have the appropriate requirements or you do not have a resume, please do not reply

    You are either a Senior in a Fashion Program in New York or you have just graduated
    You are available three days a week
    You are detail oriented and a quick learner
    You have some basic knowledge of photoshop, illustrator, word and excell
    You are motivated and hard-working and have a good attitude
    You are interested in all aspect of the clothing design industry and are interested in working in a small, downtown, growing company
    You are most interested in learning the details of how to run this business
    You have a strong personal style yet you have an understanding of trend and trend forcasting and can participate in dialog about the line
    You are willing to work for either school credit or you can justify why we should pay you an hourly fee
    You are willing to take on any task given, big or small witht he same amount of enthusiasm

    We are a growing company with a successful shoe line and 5 retail stores across the country. In the last year, we have launched a clothing line that is growing rapidly. If you are the right person for this assistant position, you will understand that since we are a small company, it is important that the person we hire understands that they have to prove their worth, and that the rewards have the potential to be greater than the initial investment. We would like to have someone working here long term who has a strong work ethic and wants to contribute to the company and grow with it. We are looking for someone with a good sense of humor and a willingness to work with others towards a common goal. We have lots of fun, but we also work very hard.

    Responsibilities include:
    Answering directly to the head designer concerning any general needs for the clothing division or the company
    Working with the designer on merchandising and expediting samples for each collection
    Communicating with Production houses in both Los Angeles and China and with our Production Manager
    Working with the designer on tasks concerning lookbooks, photoshoots, promotional events and trade shows
    Helping out in down time with aspects of the retail division
