DC focusing on the fashion, creative, entertainment, is seeking a
graphic and web design intern to
maintain and develop online and print publication and marketing
materials for SVELTE LLC, and lifestyle industries.

Projects include working with online email campaigns, designing press
kits, and technical coding support. Candidates should be able to work
independently, have adequate technical experience, comfortable with
software and the internet, and very resourceful.

Qualifications and skills:
- Knowledge of HTML and some CSS (must be able to create and edit code)
- Experience and Access to Adobe CS (specifically Photoshop and Acrobat)
- Technical and Web 2.0 savvy
- Ability to prioritize tasks sufficiently while working independently
- Creative, organized and detail oriented
- Interest in the fashion and entertainment industries preferred
- Motion graphic and Adobe Flash and After Effects experience, a PLUS

The intern will get the opportunity to directly add their creative
touches for a professional organization while learning and sharpening
media and production skills. The intern will
also attend and assist during VIP and red carpet events in the DC

MOTION GRAPHICS INTERN

Effects) or any other type of animation software
- Technical and Web 2.0 savvy

VIDEO EDITING INTERN

SVELTE LLC, a communications and public relations firm in Washington,
DC focusing on the fashion, creative, entertainment, and lifestyle
industries, is seeking a video editing intern to produce short videos
for SVELTE Tv (www.svelte-emc.com/sveltetv or
www.youtube.com/SVELTETv). These videos will focus on the DC fashion
& lifestyle industries and will be published on the SVELTE web page.
The intern must have experience using Final Cut Pro and preferably own
the software or have regular access to it. The intern will be
expected to work independently. Candidates should be a junior or
senior student with expertise and interest in media production.

Qualifications and skills:
·Passion for editing and video production
·Strong computer skills including extensive experience with Final Cut Pro
·Ability to prioritize tasks sufficiently while working independently
·Creative, organized and detail oriented
·Interest in the fashion and entertainment industry is preferred

This intern will get the opportunity to work for a professional

industries, is seeking reporters to cover DC based fashion & lifestyle
events for SVELTE Tv (www.svelte-emc.com/sveltetv or
www.youtube.com/SVELTETv).

Reporters will attend local events, report on the scene, and interview
attendees, event coordinators, and prominent figures of the industry.
Additionally, reporters may be asked to supplement their video story
with a blog post on the SVELTE web page. Candidates should have
previous work experience in journalism and broadcasting.

Qualifications and skills:
·Previous work experience in journalism and broadcasting.
·Passion for reporting and interviewing
·Comfortable speaking in public and in front of the camera
·Friendly, interpersonal and communicative
·Creative writing skills are a plus
·Interest and knowledge of the fashion and entertainment industry is preferred
·Ability to prioritize tasks sufficiently while working independently
