Description
We are a successful European fashion label in our 3rd season here in the US. Located across the street from FIT, we are looking for a pro-active, energetic and savvy intern that can support our Marketing & Sales departments. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn 2 key sides of the retail business- wholesale and ecommerce.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- inventory management
- sales support: online (eg. Hautelook) and wholesale initiatives
- marketing assistance: on and offline
-customer service support (online & on-phone) for our ecommerce platform and wholesale
- engaging with retail boutiques, providing support and assistance
- opportunity to attend and assist photoshoots, Fall 2010 & Spring 2011 styling and merchandising
- tradeshow planning support and participation in local NYC tradeshows
- showroom support
- This role will require someone that is flexible and can divide and conquer multiple requests as she/he will be working with Marketing, Sales and potentially Business Development.

**We are happy to bring someone on board part-time, but would love this role to transition into a full-time summer internship.

· Experience either in school or with previous employer in Marketing and/or Sales preferred

· Previous wholesale showroom experience a plus but not required

· Strong writing & interpersonal skills

· Ability to communicate with internal team and clients effectively and provide them with the information they need as quickly as possible

· Ability & willingness to multi-task on a daily basis

· Have a positive attitude with team members

· Organized and customer-friendly

· Open to brainstorming ideas with team for ecommerce and social media initiatives
