Internship Opportunities at Luxury Handbag Company

Adriana Castro is a rapidly, growing luxury handbag company seeking a professional, polished intern with a variety of sales, administrative, marketing and merchandising tasks. We are looking for interns that can commit for January – March 2010. Please do not apply if you are not available through these dates.

Duties may include (but not limited to):

- Researching new stores

- Reaching out to buyers

- Assisting sales appointments

- Administration work

- Enter purchase orders

- Revising purchase orders and line sheets

- Help with press outreach

- Collect and sort date in efforts to generate sales reports (end of month reports, market projections, best seller lists etc)

- Update account contact list

- Mailing (e-mail, fax, courier) out product info to existing and prospective customers

- E-mail Campaigns and Web Marketing

- Ad Hoc Projects

- Follow up phone calls, e-mails, fax

- Internet Research

- Assist with the development of sales leads

- Day – to – day administrative duties

- Excellent writing and editing skills

- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)

- Graphic design experience

- Photoshop, Illustrator strongly considered

- Highly organized

- Strong communications skills

- Must have access to a computer for off site work

This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in all facets of a growing label.; sales, marketing, pr, merchandising etc. Applicants must be available 3 days a week. No pay, college credit possible. Company will pay for food and transportation.
