September 3rd, 2008

Self Magazine is seeking detail-oriented, hard-working accessories interns for end of summer/fall. Interns are responsible for keeping an accurate inventory of all samples coming into the closet, returning loaned items promptly and assisting the accessories team and other fashion editors. Fashion experience is a plus, but not necessary. This is a great way for someone seeking a future in fashion to get their foot in the door at a successful, busy magazine. Interest in fashion is a must.

Please send your resume to amber_herring@condenast.com. The position is unpaid and candidates are expected to work at least three days a week. Post-grad and undergrad applicants are accepted.

Kind of a small selection today, but there are plenty of fashion magazine and fashion pr internships, including one in Atlanta. The rest seem to all be in NY. Keep reading to see the entire list.

We are looking for enthusiastic, organized, responsible self-starters that can start as soon as possible and end in December/January. All candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 to 3 full days/week and should ideally be able to receive school credit. Friday Fashion Internships

August 15th, 2008

In this issue: fashion magazine internships with GQ, Cosmo and Details, a couple of design and PR internships as well, plus more. Lot’s of opportunities today! Click the link to see the entire post:

NYLON needs interns in the fashion closet, starting pretty much now and ending after the Fall semester.

You already know the drill by now, but just in case:

You should be smart, obsessed with fashion (in a calm, non-stalker way), motivated, patient, selfless, and able to lift Prada and Westwood bags with a single swoop.

You should not be convinced that you are the next Cory Kennedy, the next Lauren Conrad, or the next Christian Siriano. If you truly believe you’re the next Christian Louboutin, that would be okay.

This internship is only open to people in New York (sorry!) and only open to those who can work 2-3 full days a week.

I know that’s rough, but if you can make it work, and want to be a closet babe, email Molly at nylonintern@gmail.com with a BRIEF description of why you can make her life easier.

Also, okay, I need one more intern for Fall, so if you want to be put through writing boot camp (as Britt can attest), you can email me too.

Miss you guys.

xoxo Faran
